Rumpke Invests in Central Ohio Business
Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. recently purchased Buckeye Valley Waste, a private waste hauling company located in Newark, Ohio, to enhance its waste and recycling services.
The acquisition includes the trucks and containers previously owned by Buckeye Valley Waste and more than 5,000 residential, commercial, industrial and construction customers throughout Delaware and Licking counties (Ohio). Rumpke is contacting all Buckeye Valley Waste customers. Their service will remain uninterrupted during the transition, and no immediate changes will be made. Rumpke will notify customers of any future adjustments.
"Rumpke looks forward to exceeding the service expectations of our new customers from Buckeye Valley Waste," said Andrew Rumpke, vice president of Rumpke. "This investment allows Rumpke to become more involved in the Delaware and Licking communities, as we welcome customers from these regions to Rumpke's family of customers."
Rumpke has provided service to these areas since the early 1990s, and these new customers will add density to Rumpke's service region. "Rumpke's service will improve and easily become more efficient with the acquisition of Buckeye Valley Waste," added Rumpke. "The location of these new customers coincides with our existing route structures."
Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. is one of the nation's largest privately owned, residential and commercial waste and recycling firms.
