Allied Waste Industries has reported earnings for 2005 of $51.9 million, or 15 cents per share, up from $12 million, or 4 cents per share in 2004. The company's revenue rose to $1.47 billion from $1.39 billion a year ago. Over the full year, Allied's earnings were $151.8 million or 46 cents per share, an increase from $27.7 million, or 9 cents per share, in 2004. Total revenue for the year was $5.73 billion, up from $5.51 billion in 2004.
