Republic Services has reported results for the year ended Dec. 31, 2005. For the year, Republic's net income was $253.7 million, up from $237.9 million in 2004. Annual revenue totaled $2,863.9 million, an increase from $2,708.1 million in 2004, while operating income rose to $477.2 million from $452.3 million in 2004.
