WCA Waste Corporation Announces Completion of Five Acquisitions

WCA Waste Corporation (Nasdaq:WCAA) announced today the completion of five tuck-in acquisitions located in Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama and North Carolina.
The Company completed the acquisition of Waste Pro Services, LLC located in Houston, Texas on October 1, 2007. Waste Pro currently operates 17 routes bringing the total number of routes run by WCA in the Houston metropolitan area to in excess of 100. The waste not currently being disposed at the recently acquired Ft. Bend Regional Landfill will be immediately internalized.

On October 1, 2007 the Company also completed two tuck-in acquisitions in North Carolina, purchasing 11 routes in Greensboro and 4 routes in Raleigh. This waste is being internalized into the Company-owned High Point Landfill and Raleigh Landfill.

WCA acquired Big Red Containers, Inc. located in Oklahoma, on August 15, 2007. The waste from the five truck collection company will be internalized into the Company-owned Pauls Valley Landfill.

Additionally, on September 4, 2007, WCA completed the acquisition of Roll-Off Rentals, a three truck collection company in Huntsville, Alabama. The waste is being internalized into the Company's Blount Landfill.

Tom Fatjo, Chairman of WCA Waste Corporation, stated, "During 2007 we have completed 11 acquisitions investing $97.6 million of our previously stated $100 million investment goal. The five most recent acquisitions are collection companies within existing markets. This allows us to increase route density and internalize the volume which had not previously been taken to one of our landfills."
