GE Capital Solutions launches dedicated refuse sector team
Transportation Finance unit to focus on long-term relationships with mid market firms
GE Capital Solutions' Transportation Finance unit has launched a dedicated group to focus entirely on customers in the refuse industry, specifically businesses with $5 million to $100+ million in sales. Led by Peter Hart, National Sales Manager for the refuse sector at GE Capital Solutions, the group has coverage across the U.S., providing a wide range of competitive loans and leases to the refuse industry.
"We want to be known as the premier lender to the refuse sector," Hart said. "For more than a year, Transportation Finance has been providing financing programs tailored to meet the needs of refuse customers. However, given the importance of this industry1, we have now launched a dedicated team of experienced professionals to provide nationwide coverage and develop innovative financing solutions for customers' waste collection, processing and disposal equipment."
In the refuse industry, lenders typically ‘come and go' in market conditions that suit them, not necessarily their customers. GE Capital Solutions has assisted the transportation industry for over 30 years and is positioned to help businesses grow as they face new challenges. By setting up a specialized group focusing solely on the refuse sector, GE Capital Solutions will build on its reputation for supporting customers throughout the different market cycles and will be here for the long haul. It will also finance containers and other assets not traditionally financed by lenders to the refuse industry.
"We can now truly offer a one-stop shop for refuse customers," added Hart. "The refuse industry has a unique set of requirements and business needs, which change with market conditions - customers can be reassured that we'll provide financial support for the long term."
