North East Waste Services has received approval for permit enhancements at three of its facilities. The Cumberland County (PA) Landfill can increase its average daily volume from 1,000 to 1,500 tons per day; the South Hadley (MA) Landfill can increase its volume from 395 to 500 tons per day; and the St. Johnsbury (VT) transfer station can increase from 52 to 250 tons per day.
