Versar, Inc. (Amex: VSR) has won a project under its Air Force Worldwide Environmental Restoration and Construction Contract to repair and replace roofing systems for the Defense Logistics Agency. The company's work will include abatement, demolishing and disposing of the existing roof and installing a new roofing system for buildings at DLA's San Diego Defense Distribution Center. The $6.5 million project is scheduled to be completed at the end of this year.
