Allied Waste Announces 2001 Results & 2002 Outlook

Allied Waste Industries Inc. (AW, Scottsdale, Ariz.) announced fourth quarter and year-end 2001 financial results on Feb. 13. 2001 revenues were $5.66 billion, down slightly from $5.71 billion in 2000. Adjusted EBITDA was $1.93 billion, down slightly from $2.01 billion in 2000. 2002 estimates are for $5.6 billion and $1.85 billion, based on "a continuation of the weak economic conditions."
