They include all of the publicly traded waste management firms and most of the larger privately held ones. In the public sector, many key federal agencies including the US EPA, US DOE, and US DOJ use Chartwell products and services. Likewise, a substantial number of state and local environmental agencies subscribe to Chartwell services and publications. Chartwell is extremely proud of its working relationships with the major waste management associations: EIA and SWANA which are important clients and a source of much referral business.

During its ten years of existence, Chartwell has built a reputation for providing excellent accurate waste management data and research. For example, Chartwell statistics and opinions are frequently used as benchmarks in industry contracts, and a source of "expert information" in litigation, federal antitrust decisions, company acquisitions, financing deals, and corporate marketing strategies. We even helped the industry's largest participant inventory its own waste disposal operations. Our research has been quoted in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Economist, National Public Radio and many other requested publications.
